Shopify Developer
(Full-time)
We are looking for a skilled Shopify Developer to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for developing user-friendly e-commerce sites on the Shopify platform, optimizing performance, and implementing responsive designs. The ideal candidate will have experience in Shopify’s liquid programming, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, along with a strong understanding of e-commerce trends. Responsibilities
- Develop new user-facing features specifically for the Shopify platform.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement responsive design for mobile sites.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Support and maintain documentation of all work.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.
Requirements and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Shopify Developer or similar role.
- Demonstrable expertise in Shopify’s liquid programming language.
- Experience with implementing/debugging 3rd party Shopify apps as well as creating custom solutions if necessary.
- Ability to work with APIs and integrate third-party apps.
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
- Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Grunt and Gulp.js.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
