Motion Designer
(Full-time)
We are seeking a creative and talented Motion Designer to join our dynamic team. This role involves creating high-impact motion graphics for various media platforms, contributing to brainstorming sessions, and staying abreast of the latest industry trends. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their skills in video editing and motion graphics, proficiency in tools like Adobe After Effects, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities
- Create and deliver motion graphics in various media including web, mobile, etc.
- Work with art and creative teams to understand project scope and objectives.
- Assist in selecting audio, video, colors, animation, etc for graphic design.
- Edit raw video footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.
- Research and analyze best design techniques and solutions to create motion graphics.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas.
- Maintain and follow best practices for versioning control, naming convention and organization of graphic files.
- Stay up to date on the latest graphic design techniques.
Requirements and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Motion Designer or similar role.
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
- Proficient in software such as Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing.
- Creative thinking skills.
- Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Film, Animation, or related field is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of motion graphics, composting and editing principles (including 2D/3D animation, particle systems, keying, tracking, rotoscoping).
- Knowledge of video editing software, videography, and photography.
- Excellent visual communication skills to present ideas and information in a multimedia context.
- Exceptional creativity and innovation.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
